“ Fantastic meal at Crazy Stone! We started with the chicken katsu appetizer and miso soup. For the entree, my husband decided to leave it up to the chef and ordered the Omakase plate. He was really impressed with the chef's selection and freshness of the fish. I opted for the Out of Control Roll, an Alaska roll and a sweet potato roll. Everything was delicious and the service was spot on. Typical sushi restaurant atmosphere with a sushi bar and lots of booths and tables. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Definitely one of my top 3 sushi restaurants in Metrowest. ”

“ Passing by Crazy Stone on Rt. 20, there is not much curb appeal and the exterior might not do much to draw you in. But...once inside, we quickly felt the good vibes coming from the festive decor and inviting staff. Service was very good - the right balance of patience and attentiveness. Our server appeared to genuinely enjoy caring for us, and helped set the tone for a pleasant meal. Our assortment of maki rolls were very good, ranging from classics such as spicy tuna, eel, and vegetable tempura, to specialty rolls such the Hot Girl and Coco Shrimp. The miso soup and pot of jasmine green tea were perfect on a frigid night. ”

“ As Sushi spots go, and as the reviews suggest, Crazy Stone is one of the better ones in this area. We enjoyed our recent experience here -- the food, the funky ambiance, and the service (they found a way to make room for us when we showed up without a reservation) -- and really have nothing to complain about. However, we have 2 all time favorite Sushi spots within driving distance and while we were both glad we tried Crazy Stone, it's not going to supplant our two favorites. ”

“ Had to stop by here because of the amazing reviews that this place has. Everyone working there was so kind and attentive, making sure that all of our entrees were to our liking. We came for a late lunch and got the Sashimi combo. All of the fish was fresh and super reasonable for the price. I would definitely come back to eat here if I'm ever in the area again. “ I was pleasantly surprised to find a sushi place of this level in Marlborough. There is a nice, casual ambience and if you sit in the back, a nice view of a lake (there were swans the day I went). They have an extensive menu, with fresh uni (but a lot of the time the uni is sold out, so I would call before you go if you want it). Cuts of fish are generous and fresh, as are the servings of uni, crab, roe, scallops, and tuna on the uni don, which was what I ordered--it's pricey but after I saw how much you get, I think it's worth it. I also really like the sunshine roll. This place is a step below omakase places in the city, but definitely has great sushi that will fulfill your cravings. ”

“ A solid five star! This place is a hidden gem! I came across this restaurant through their instagram and i was skeptical but this place is a true hidden gem for sushi sashimi lover. We always get their omakaze or sushi 12 piece chefs choice and it never disappoints! each sushi is carefully curated by the chef depending on their fresh catch of the day topped with their very subtle yet delectable toppings like caviar, quail eggs, ikura, uni and truffles. We also tried their appetizer sampler of caviar uni crab meat toro and it was so so so delicious. Its a small bite (mini chirashi) of richness! So tasty and fresh. This place is ample amount of parking and a beautiful view of the lake which is so amazing! The staff is very attentive and accommodating and cannot stop raving about this place! ”

“ Wow. Just wow. First of all, having this kind of view in a small town like this for some sushi is just spectacular. Look at that beautiful lakeside view! Definitely set the whole mood and if you make a reservation, ask to be sat in front of the window, you will not regret it. The sushi combos were d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. We had the lunch one and the chef's special one, and they were just plated so beautifully. Take a look at how thick those sashimi cuts are! The fish was soooo soft and melted in our mouths. Gorgeous presentation and so yummy. They also gave us some homemade soy sauce, super cool! The staff are very very friendly and are super sweet. You can tell how much it means to them when you say you enjoyed your meal. They explain everything for you and are just so kind the whole time. I recommend this to everyone, please go and try them out!!! ”
